iPhone 18 Launch Event Highlights | Apple's First Foldable Phone Launch

Apple has concluded its "Surprise and Shine" event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. its September 9 launch event at Apple Park, California, which unveiled new products and features. The keynote started at 10:30 p.m. IST and marked the first major product launch under the new CEO John Ternus.

Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone called the iPhone Duo, during the event. Additionally, the company released new Apple Watch, AirPods, and shared information about their features, prices, and availability.

The iPhone Duo starts at Rs. 2,99,900 in India, while the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max start at Rs. 1,64,900 and Rs. 1,79,900, respectively.

AirPods 5 gets AI-powered Siri, improved ANC, and health features

Apple announced the AirPods 5 with Active Noise Cancellation, offering up to 50 percent more noise reduction than AirPods 4 with ANC. The earbuds also have new audio features, including Live Translation.

iPhone 18 Pro gets a ‘Camera Control’ button

AirPods 5 enable hands-free AI experience

AirPods 5 enable more hands-free features with Siri’s AI-powered personal assistant to access rich contextual information. Moreover, users can answer to Siri’s inquiries with head gestures. Apple also brings Live Translation to AirPods 5, breaking down language barriers for conversations.
