Bigg Boss 20 welcomed new contestants to the game on Sunday (September 6), and Salman Khan returned as the host. This year’s batch was also a mix of celebrities, influencers, and familiar faces.

It has seen legendary fights over chores in the kitchen and unbreakable alliances formed in the face of adversity, all in the name of pure entertainment. With Salman Khan as the host, Bigg Boss delivers a mix of drama, suspense, and revenge every week as the housemates face the music for their misdeeds on the show. Overall, Bigg Boss continues to dominate the Indian television landscape, being the talk of the town and a huge draw for pop-culture enthusiasts. Many of the people lock their eyes on this reality TV show since its start and celebrate New Year along with the contestants virtually every year.

Theme ‘Vardaan" & "Tathas-Two’ for the 20th Season

The upcoming 20th season of Bigg Boss has some unique twists to offer. It promises to provide a high-fantasy dual-life twist, based on the theme of Vardaan (Blessing). The theme for this year is Tathastu, so the participants will get two chances to stay in the house. 

The show will be all about “Tathas-Two” and “Ek Se Bhale Do.” The 20th season of the reality TV series will feature an extra Jeevan Daan, giving the housemates an additional lifeline. As such, the game dynamics will change, and the task of evicting someone from the house will be a bit harder.
The set has been created in the style of a whimsical wonderland, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, complete with eye motifs and a two-house concept, to create a unique and mind-boggling experience for the participants. With a giant centre-tree piece with whimsical quotes and motifs of various creatures giving it a Jungle-like experience enhances the effects of the theme of Bigg Boss this year. 

Mystery rooms like “Room no. 20” and “Room 2X” has also added spice to the house of Bigg Boss and giving the game an edge at the same time.

Rhiti Tiwari

After winning as a contestant in Bigg Boss 4, Manoj Tiwari is all set to return to the reality show for the 20th season, but not to play but to support his daughter, Rithi Tiwari, as she joins the controversial reality TV show. The actor-politician dropped by the set to wish her luck as the singer, lyricist, composer, and producer prepares to make her mark on the show.
Rithi Tiwari, a talented music creator, has released several singles on both YouTube and Spotify, including Baarish, Maansik Santulan, Jhoothi Baby, Ghum Chuke, and many more.

Kanika Mann

Kanika Mann is a TV actress and model who rose to fame for playing Guddan in the show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. Her portrayal of the bubbly character made her a household name, and she followed it up by appearing in Roohaniyat and Chand Sifarish. Additionally, she participated in the reality TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. One of the most-talked-about incidents involving Kanika occurred when Rubina Dilaik accused her of cheating.

Aasif Khan

Aasif Khan has carved a niche for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry with his captivating performances in web shows and films. Hailing from Nimbahera, Rajasthan, Aasif spent nearly five years in Jaipur before heading to Mumbai in 2016 to begin his acting career. Qazi Touqeer

The Kashmiri singer rose to prominence in 2005 when he won the reality singing show Fame Gurukul with Ruprekha Banerjee, securing his position as one of the most popular reality show stars in the country. He shared the stage with none other than Bollywood singer Arijit Singh in the same season. Qazi made his acting debut in the film Afghan Jalebi from Phantom Entertainment after his stint in Fame Gurukul.

Kushal Tanwar

Kushal Tanwar, better known as Gullu rose to fame after winning Roadies Double Cross and Splitsvilla X6 one after the other. The model has since been on the top of the media charts and even recently announced as the winner of a cooking show, Maa Hai Na. With the increasing popularity along with huge social media following, Kushal is one of the most anticipated contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Isha Rikhi

Isha Rikhi is a model and actress from Punjab who has appeared in Punjabi films. Having started her career in Chandigarh in the field of modeling, she made her acting debut in Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De in 2013. She has since appeared in films like Happy Go Lucky, What the Jatt!!, Desi Munde, Ardaas, and Mindo Taseeldarni. Isha made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Nawabzaade. When rapper Badshah proposed to Isha in 2026, the entire nation was fixated on her love story, but unfortunately, the marriage did not last long.

Amrapali Dubey

Amrapali Dubey is one of the leading Bhojpuri cinema actresses. She began her career in Hindi television and appeared in popular shows such as Saat Phere- Saloni Ka Safar, Maayka, and Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein. She made her debut in Bhojpuri cinema with the film Nirahua Hindustani in 2014, alongside Dinesh Lal Yadav, popularly known as Nirahua. Amrapali soon became one of the leading actresses in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Her pairing with Dinesh Lal Yadav became a hit as the duo’s on-screen chemistry was simply electric. Amrapali Dubey has won the hearts of millions of Bhojpuri viewers with her acting skills, and she continues to be a popular name in the regional film industry.

Rohed Khan is an Austrian model and actor. He has appeared in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Tejas, and Sarzameen.

Love Gill

Love Gill, also known as Lovepreet Kaur Gill, is a Punjabi actress and model who has appeared in music videos, television shows, and films. Her entertainment career began with modeling, and she gained popularity after appearing in Karan Aujla’s 2019 music video Facts. Love made her television debut in the show Tu Patang Main Dor as Zarina and later made her Punjabi film debut in Kuriyan Jawan Bapu Pareshan in 2021. She has appeared in numerous Punjabi movies, including Hate, Kuriyan Jawan Bapu Pareshan, and Desi Munde.

There was a live voting of popularity for Love Gill & Rhiya Yadav (The girl who stopped a van from her hand during the Delhi GenZ protest) which ended by Love Gill taking her spot in Bigg Boss 20.

Harsh Machare, also known as Yung DSA

Harsh Vijay Machare, also known as Yung DSA, is a rapper from Pune who is quickly gaining popularity in India’s desi hip-hop circuit. This talented artist comes from Yerwada, Pune, and has been making waves by blending street culture and regional Marathi flavor with trap music and classical Indian instruments such as the sitar. Mahhi Vij

Mahhi Vij is a television actress who has appeared in the reality show Bigg Boss 20. Mahhi has had a fruitful career on television. She became famous with the show Laagi Tujhse Lagan and played the role of Nakusha in the series. Balika Vadhu saw her playing the role of Nandini. Mahhi has also appeared in the shows Akela and Kaisi Laagi Lagan. She has had a prolific career on reality TV as well, having appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 and Nach Baliye 5, where she won the title with her husband Jay Bhanushali. Mahhi also appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 11.
